KP Family- even more than a word!!

Long time, no read. This could be the heading of my blog on this page. Actually made for you to stay up to date, I realized that I couldn’t find some time between touring and all the other projects, I’m involved in, to put my thoughts into words on this or other websites. However, what counts is: I try to keep it up to date regularly.

Today it’s 24th August 2010. 10 Days ago, we declaimed KP-Day (#kpday) in the Internet and what happened again afterwards was just unbelievable. Amazing. Definitely motivating. Unbelievable #kpfamily.  Killerpilze-Tag had been on 21st August and you really rocked it! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

You read the word „kpfamily“ frequently. You are hard working Tweets und Facebook-Members.  So, put this word into your messages: #kpfamily

This is not just a phrase which we just made up. It should be an expression for the community between us and our fans, the fans by themselves, the different Nationalities and Streeteams and how this community is growing. The last few month, since we released „LAUTONOM“. I got the impression, that not only our fans are growing older and become adult but also the projects become more thoughtful and as I said before the community is growing. This all should “KP-Family” express. Are you satisfied with this name? Are you able to indentify yourself with it?

I think it’s really important that we FINALLY found an expression for all the people who are able to identify with our music, our band and our wish. It’s for all the people who want to be with us. For all the people supporting us.

This kind of support is exactly what we, as a band, need and luckily get. As you know, not all sings had been “on top” for LAUTONOM. It was a hard struggle to get over the separation from Universal and a bench of people who surrounded us , to record a new (strong) Album and to establish our own record label. The times are different than 4 years ago. We know that. And you should know that, too. 2010 is the start into a new age fort he KILLERPILZE and for you #kpfamily.

LAUTONOM had been a first, very important step. But as we mentioned before, this Album was just the beginning and no the end. Even if we are not appear in every small show on TV, our music videos on VIVA and MTV are not (yet) playing the whole day and the radio stations call „Am Meer“ not Radio- fitting, we had shown definitely that everything goes the right way. The POWER of the #kpfamily could change all those people minds. A demanding mass could break down people who consider themselves as most important and who always want to decide everything. Give the shit on the prejudice. Only we decide what will happen afterwards. It’s in our hands. Everything I said before, isn’t as important as the bond we should give:

WE GIVE EVERYTHING FOR YOU WITH THE MUSIC ON THE CONCERTS AFTER THE CONCERTS. THE KP-FAMILY IS THE REASON WHY WE ARE DOING THAT FOR US FOR YOU.

And you:

YOU GIVE US SOMETHING BACK YOU  ARE SUPPORTING VOTING BUYING LEGAL COMEING TO OUR SHOWS

Are you able to give this bond to us, like we do?

This may sound very demanding. But it shouldn’t. As you all know, we only could reach our goal to live by making music, if we earn some money on the one hand and on the other hand have a foundation fort he future. This foundation are you building with us.

Nearly 5 Million Channel-Views on Youtube, 16.800 Fans on Facebook (only in 6 month), 50.000Fans on MySpace, 2.500 registered Members at the official www.killerpilzefanclub,de (since December) Streeteams/ Fans all over the world don’t lie. But it’s just the beginning. This makes us proud Are you feeling as well what all could happen? I would call it atmosphere of departure.

Right in front of us is a brilliant second Part of the Tour the LAUTOBAHN-TOUR. 28th August by the end of September we will rock Germany/Austria and we will kick our asses.. After that there are some shows by the beginning of December. This is the moment, right now. This is it what counts for us at the moment. We are hardly looking forward to this Tour. Be with us! You know where you can get your tickets. In case of emergency at the box office. If you believe all the rumours you know that with the KILLERPILZE live the roof is on fire.

Our Single PLASTIK will be released on Friday!! One song, one statement, a direction sign. What do you think about the Single? You wanted it, and we give it to you.

All festivals, which we played this year had been really great Highlights.  We also want next year on the big stages in front of a big crowd. What you could do, we will tell you soon.

But you could write serious Band suggestions to all the big Festivals. The examination into the world of Fashion of Tom Rebl was something new and exciting.

First of all it’s important to push the Tour again, do commercials and that you’ll get yourself those amazing Singles (they are really high class) THANKS.

KP-FAMILY!!! Viel mehr als nur das Wort.

Liebe Zuhörer, Mitleser, liebe KP-Family,

First of all: If there are any fans who don’t understand German. Maybe someone wants to translate this blog. If you do: please be so kind and send me the translation that I can put it up for all non-German-speaking fans. Thank you.

Long time, no read. Das könnte jedenfalls das Motto meines Blogs hier sein. Eigentlich dafür gebaut, um euch dauernd auf dem Laufenden zu halten, wurde mir relativ schnell klar, dass ich neben den ganzen Touren, dem alltäglichen Wahnsinn und vielen Projekten, die ich gerade angehe, viel zu selten dazu komme, meine Gedanken in Einträge auf dieser oder jener Website zu verfassen. Wie immer gilt: Ich versuche, regelmäßiger dranzubleiben.

Wir schreiben heute den 24. August 2010. Vor 10 Tagen wurde der Kp-Day (#kpday) im Internet von uns ausgerufen und was danach wiedermal passiert ist, ist schlichtweg unfassbar. Unfassbar schön. Unfassbar motivierend. Unfassbar #kpfamily. Am 21. August war Killerpilze-Tag und ihr habt richtig Gas gegeben. DANKESCHÖN!
Ihr lest diese Beschreibung der “kpfamily” in letzter Zeit bestimmt häufiger. Ihr seid doch fleißige Twitterer und Facebook’ler. Also pflegt das ruhig in Eure Statusmeldungen und Tweets ein: #kpfamily

Das ist nicht nur ein Ausdruck, den wir mal eben auf die Schnelle erfunden haben. Viel mehr soll das ein Ausdruck sein, wie die Gemeinschaft zwischen uns & unseren Fans, den Fans untereinander, den verschiedenen Nationen und Streetteams Schritt für Schritt wächst. Gerade in den letzten Monaten seit “LAUTONOM” draußen ist, habe ich das Gefühl, dass unsere Fans nicht nur älter und reifer werden, sondern dass auch die Aktionen überlegter und wie eben gesagt, die Gemeinschaft untereinander größer wird. Das alles soll “KP-Family” ausdrücken. Seid ihr zufrieden mit dem Namen? Könnt ihr euch damit identifizieren?

Ich finde es wichtig, dass wir ENDLICH eine Bezeichnung für alle Leute haben, die sich mit unserer Musik, unserer Band und unseren Anliegen identifizieren können. Die teilhaben wollen. Die uns unterstützen.

Diese Unterstützung ist genau das, was wir als Band von euch brauchen und glücklicherweise auch bekommen. Ihr wisst, für uns standen die Zeichen vor LAUTONOM nicht unbedingt auf “nach oben”. Für uns war es ein langer Kampf, um die Trennung von Universal, vielen Leuten aus unserem alten Umfeld zu verkraften, ein neues (starkes) Album aufzunehmen und eine eigene Plattenfirma zu gründen. Die Zeiten sind anders als vor 4 Jahren. Das wissen wir. Und das sollt auch ihr wissen. 2010 ist ein Start in eine neue Ära. Für die KILLERPILZE. Für euch, die #kpfamily.

LAUTONOM war ein erster, sehr wichtiger Schritt. Aber wie wir immer gesagt haben, ist dieses Album nur der Anfang, nicht das Ziel. Auch wenn wir im Moment nicht in jeder Popelsendung im TV sitzen, unsere Videos auf VIVA/MTV (noch) nicht hoch-und runterlaufen und die Radiosender behaupten, “Am Meer” sei nicht radiotauglich, so haben wir doch bewiesen, dass das alles in die richtige Richtung geht. Die POWER der #kpfamily kann alle diese Leute überzeugen. Wenn eine Masse etwas fordert, dann brechen auch die Leute ein, die sich selbst als die Wichtigsten ansehen und die bestimmen wollen. Scheißt auf die Vorurteile! Was draus wird, bestimmen doch wir alleine! Es liegt in unseren Händen. Alles oben genannte ist nicht so wichtig wie das Versprechen, dass wir uns gegenseitig geben sollten:

WIR GEBEN ALLES FÜR EUCH. IN DER MUSIK. AUF DEN KONZERTEN. NACH DEN KONZERTEN. DIE KP-FAMILY IST DAS, WARUM WIR DAS MACHEN. FÜR UNS. FÜR EUCH.

Und ihr:

IHR GEBT UNS WAS ZURÜCK. IHR UNTERSTÜTZT, VOTET, KAUFT LEGAL, KOMMT AUF DIE SHOWS.

Könnt ihr uns dieses Versprechen so geben, wie wir es euch geben? Vielleicht mag das für den einen oder anderen sehr fordernd klingen. Soll es aber nicht. Ihr wisst alle: Wir können unseren Traum, von der Musik zu leben, nur erreichen, wenn wir damit einerseits Geld verdienen & andererseits eine Perspektive für die Zukunft haben. Diese Perspektive formt ihr mit uns zusammen.

Knapp 5 Millionen Channel-Views auf Youtube, 16.800 Fans bei Facebook (innerhalb von 6 Monaten), 50.000 Fans bei Myspace, 2.500 registrierte Mitglieder im offiziellen www.killerpilzefanclub.de (seit Dezember) und Streetteams/Fans auf der ganzen Welt lügen nicht. Und trotzdem ist das doch erst der Beginn! Und das macht uns stolz Spürt ihr, was da noch alles schlummert? Was da noch alles kommt? Ich nenne es mal Aufbruchsstimmung!!

Direkt vor uns liegt jetzt erstmal ein großartiger zweiter Tourabschnitt der LAUTOBAHN-TOUR. Vom 28. August bis Ende September werden wir erstmal Deutschland/Österreich rocken und uns den Arsch abspielen. Danach gibt es noch vereinzelte Daten bis Anfang Dezember. Das ist das Hier und Jetzt. Das zählt für uns im Moment. Wir freuen uns richtig krass auf diese Tour. Seid dabei!! Ihr wisst, wo es die Tickets gibt. Notfalls an der Abendkasse. Und wer den vielen Gerüchten glaubt, sollte spätestens jetzt wissen, dass bei den KILLERPILZEN live die Hütte brennt.

Unsere Single PLASTIK erscheint am Freitag!! Ein Song, ein Statement, ein Wegweiser. Was haltet ihr von der Single? Ihr habt sie gefordert, wir geben sie euch gerne.

Alle Festivals, die wir dieses Jahr spielen durften, waren für uns echte Highlights. Wir wollen auch nächstes Jahr auf die großen Bühnen, vor viele Leute. Was ihr dafür tun könnt, werden wir bald nochmal mitteilen. Aber schreibt gerne ernstzunehmende Bandvorschläge an die großen Festivals. Auch, dass wir einen Ausflug in die Modewelt von Tom Rebl machen durften, war etwas Neues und Aufregendes.

Erstmal ist es wichtig, dass wir die Tour nochmal zusammen pushen, Werbung machen und ihr euch die wunderbaren Singles holt (die sind wirklich hochwertig). DANKE

Offline, Rock am Ring and new spot

Hey guys,

I’m really really really sorry for not writing the last weeks. My internet is still off and so far there’s no end in sight. fuck it. I’ll try everything to be back on Monday. But before the whole band is spending some private time together @Rock am Ring in Germany. We can’t wait to hang out together, meet friends and bands, have fun and spending a good time. I wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to everybody who was part of our shows last week in Fürstenfeldbruck, Darmstadt and Fürstenfeld (Austria). This was amazing! My last week…

It’s been an incredible week so far and until now I had no time to upload pictures. that’s why this entry today is more a photo blog. unfortunately I forgot my camera yesterday and so I couldn’t take pictures of the dome yesterday. but it was amazing.

as you see, we had fun during this stressful week. yesterday we had a promotion day in stuttgart and ended up in a nice club in this beautfiul town. now I’m off to France. I’ll keep you posted.

Austria was a lot of fun. I really want to thank everybody who came out to have a good time with us. Austria proved to be a party country. We had a fantastic first festival show after ending the first part of #lautobahn tour in Germany and Austria. Now we’re back. It feels good to be back on stage. even if the weather sucks totally during the last weeks, festivals will be so important for us. please join and support us out there to show the big KP-community in every city.

we’re heading into the festival season…

bed update

no real updates these days…had an operation on Monday and now I’m resting in my bed spending time with watching series like (californication, stromberg, two and a half men) or movies (departed, zeiten ändern dich) tv (horrible German television program) or reading. thanks for all your wishes. I hope it will get better tomorrow. the biggest problem is: i’m damn hungry and not yet allowed to eat….ahhhh.

Promotion tour for our new single..

As you all know, our new single “AM MEER” will be released on all legal download sites on 7th may and therefore we headed out to do some promotion dates in the last weeks.

ZDF Morgenmagazin 23th April, rehearsal of our new acoustic version of “Am Meer”.

Yes, we did a totally new version of the new single with some extra instruments that will play Fabi. Who else? We think it sounds really cool and I guess you’ve heard it on any show in the last days..

After this TV-show we had to do  a nice little spot for VIVA Germany. We tried our best to look as good as much as cooks. I think we failed a little bit but in the end we all were really happy to have something to eat. and it tasted not that bad. really. Fabi and Mäx did a great job too, but what about this, huh?

yeah, that’s the dessert I did. as you can see I’m a little proud.

After this very short and intense trip to Berlin we made it back by train which was caused to the cancellation of all flights due to the ash clouds of an Icelantic volcano. But travelling by train is more environmentally friendly and so everything was cool for us.

next step was VIVA LIVE on 29th April in Berlin. A show we really love and we always come back to. I guess it was already the 12th time we have been there.  people welcomed us really warmly and once again we played an acoustic version.
